One year ago, the joint project of the CJSC “MCC FINCA” and CJSC “Bank of Asia” was launched. This project is for money remittances. On September 10th, 2012, the pilot branches: The Central and Bishkek branches started to offer services on international money transfer systems: «Migom», «Lider», «Contact» to receive money, and the local money transfer system “Asia Express” to send and receive money.
“Remittances for the population from the company FINCA and Bank of Asia – it is unique project, in which our company acts as an agent with wide branch network over the country, – Zulfia Tekimbaeva, the manager on banking products said. – It is mutually beneficial tripartite project: our company extends range of its services for the clients; the bank develops its system of local money transfer; the population uses system of money transfer without going to central cities. We are confident in high level of interest of our clients to this new service”, – Zulfia Tekimbaeva stated out.
Zulfia indicated that today 18 branches of the company are connected to remittance systems “Contact”, “Unistream”, “Migom” and “Asia Express”. Another seven points of service will be connected till the end of September. “Extension of access to the remittance systems is dictated, first of all, by the clients”.
