Kindergarten does not operate in the village First of May of the Bazar-Korgon rayon. Earlier, it was only old abandoned building. But recently the kindergarten started to work with a help of the international agencies and local citizens and local authorities. There were no only funds for lunch tables and chairs for the kids. The local administrations applied to the Head of the Bazar-Korgon branch of the company FINCA and got support.
There are 858 households in this remote village in mountain area, where the people are involved mainly in crop production and livestock-breeding. By the way, the local citizens actively take FINCA’s credits. The administration of the branch made assessment of the kindergarten as the most one in need. After negotiations with private craftsmen from the Arslan-Bob village, furniture was manufactured (60 chairs and 10 tables). Private craftsmen also decided to make input in this initiative and reduced cost of their products. And very soon, the kindergarten, which was closed for many years, will start to function completely.
There is only one kindergarten for 90 children in the Abdraimov village of the Bazar-Korgon rayon. This kindergarten did not have even summer pavilions for the children of senior group. The Bazar-Korgon branch of the company FINCA considered request submitted by the local citizens and made positive decision on this project.
These kindergartens as well as other ones have many problems: absence of equipped kitchen, furniture, playgrounds and so on. But experience showed that all problems are solved through joint efforts.
