According to kind tradition on New Year’s Eve, the company’s branches conducted charity events for various social objects, poor families and citizens in need. All events were held in a framework of corporative-social responsibility, which had long-term perspective since FINCA mainstreamed its key principles in the country.
Some branches have sponsored organization they help for long time already. For instance, the Sokuluk branch actively helps kindergarten in Tyuz village. On Child Protection Day, the branch staff presented toys and sweets to the children in kindergarten. The branch decided to present big cake and drinks to kids on New Year’s Eve.
By request of the Red Crescent Society, sweet New Year presents were prepared by the staff of Balykchy branch for the children with disabilities.
The Naryn branch helped the maternity hospital in the Kazarman village (Toguz-Toro rayon, Jalal-Abad oblast). The administration of maternity hospital applied to the branch with request to help with building materials for renovation. The branch staff solved this issue in three days: they have purchased 16 liters of lacquer for wooden items delivered to the maternity hospital.
The central branch congratulated Vasily Semenovich Pleskov, citizen of Bishkek, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War with New Year holiday. 93-years old pensioner is sick and he needs hygienic items. The branch staff brought him necessary things and food package.
It is worth to say that it is important for the company to support social facilities and people not with money, but to provide those things they need most of all: building materials, food products, medication and so on. It is done to get targeted help, and allocated funds to be used purposefully.
In spite of moratorium for charitable actions announced in the company, the heads of some branches applied with request to consider their application. And they received positive responses. Such actions do not have big budgets. But it is not so crucial. In New Year’s Eve, we wish to share joy with other people and give them feeling of real holiday.
