School, where 470 students study instead of 300 students, was built 20 years ago. It is located near canal, and therefore, moisture is one of serious problems of this educational facility. Because of moisture, floor was rotten in the school, and holes occurred in floor.
To address problem, the school administration requested the Kadamzhay branch of the company FINCA to help, and the company responded – it allocated 130 thousand soms for repair. Wood and paint for floor were bought using the company’s money. Teachers and parents renovated class-rooms.
The Kadamzhay rayon is densely populated. Living standard is below average; outflow of able to work population is substantial. Two thousand people, mostly farmers reside in the Absamat village.
Day of Knowledge is the first rings and excitement, flowers, white bows and, of course, the first lesson. It is the lesson of Good and Peace. It is long-waiting day for those who go to school first time. September 1st is celebration of the beginning of new school year, first of all, for the students. But the patents are not happy due to high costs at the markets of Kyrgyzstan.
It is very costly to prepare the pupil to new school year. The company FINCA made decision to present gifts to those who go to first grade at the schools the company already helped. Only during three quarters of 2013, FINCA implemented about 30 social projects aimed at improvement of conditions in educational institutions. In average, 140 thousand soms are spent for each of these projects. The most visible projects are two projects realized in the Kadamzhay rayon: replacement of roofing in the school of the Sovetsky village and floor in school of the Absamat village.
Many projects were linked with equipment, electronics and stocks. There are projects supporting the boarding school for visually impaired persons in Osh city and school in the Kyrgyz Check village and many similar schools. There were cases when whole educational institution was supported by the company (crisis center “Irada” in Karakol city) or helping school with drinking water, they supplied whole village with water (the Kyzyl-Adyr village and its eight-grade school). More or less, over 250 first graders from these schools will get so nice surprise.
September 1st is the holiday for all pupils, students and their parents. We congratulate you with this wonderful day and wish you to remember about the most important thing: about wisdom in our life.
