A photo competition for children and youth “Learn. Save. Earn” starts in Kyrgyzstan.

FINCA Bank has become a sponsor of the national photo competition. The National photo competition is held within the framework of the Global Money Week – an annual set of events aimed at the increase in the opportunities of the next generation for confident and responsible financial future, which will take place from March 27 to April 2.

The aim of the competition is to increase the level of financial literacy and attracting attention of children and youth to the issues of necessity to learn how to manage money, set goals and develop financial plans for the future.

Children under 17 and young people under 25 years of age throughout Kyrgyzstan, including remote regions and villages, can take part in the competition and receive valuable prizes in various nominations.

The prize fund:

The first age category – children under 17 years of age (including teenagers of 17)
The first place — 5, 000 soms,
The second place – 3, 000 soms,
The third place – 2, 500 soms.

The second age category – young people in the age of 18-25.

The first place — 5000 soms,
The second place – 3000 soms,
The third place – 2500 soms.

There are also three special nominations of the judging panel—3, 000 soms each.

The terms and conditions of publication of the photos:

It’s necessary to provide the author’s  name of the photo, a short description of the photo and publish it in the social media Facebook and Instagram using the obligatory  hashtags:  #GMWKG2017, #GMW2017, #GlobalMoneyWeek, #GMWselfie indicating the CJSC “FINCA Bank”as the sponsor of the competition @FINCA.kg, хэштегами «#FINCABankKyrgyzstan», «#DPI» indicating the organizers and coordinators of the competition @GlobalMoneyWeek, @GlobalMoneyWeekKyrgyzstan,@Национальный банк КР, @DevelopmentPolicyInstitute.

All the participants of the competition shall familiarize themselves with the Regulation on the National photo competition.

For information: the Global Money Week is an annual educational event initiated by the international network Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI). The main goal of this project is financial integration, increase in the financial literacy and acquiring entrepreneurial competencies by children and youth.
